"Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer
and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God,
which surpasses all comprehension,
shall guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Scripture quotation taken from the NASB.
May God's grace and peace be yours today.
In His love and service,
You might be asking yourself, " What makes this prayer site different from the others?"
That is an excellent question!
Let me tell you a little about myself so that you will understand the reason behind this site.
When I was nine years old, I realized that I was separated from God because of my sins.
Though this knowledge began as intellectual, it soon moved to the heart of my very being.
As I began to understand the impact of my sins and the fact that I was completely
unworthy of any good thing, God placed the gift of faith in my heart...
this faith assured me that He loved me uncond itionally, beyond my comprehension,
and He desired me to place all of my sins upon His precious Son Christ Jesus.
If God loved me so much that He allowed His only Son Jesus Christ to die an agonizing
death to atone for my sins, who was I to reject such a gift of eternal love?
I believed on the Son of God and was saved from eternal damnation. Almost immediately,
God's spirit guided me to pray for the people I loved. I wasn't sure how to pray; I merely
spoke the words from my heart, but I knew that God heard them. And I knew that my
sincere prayers pleased Him.
Since that remarkable day 46 years ago, I have realized that prayer is a vital necessity in a
Christian's life. Also, it is essential to pray for other people, our churches, and our leaders.
